Don’t Miss the Sound of Music Parade This Saturday in Downtown Burlington!
This Saturday morning, join the community for the Grande Festival Parade, kicking off at 11:00 AM on June 14 with a new route for 2025!

Before the big stages and waterfront crowds, the Sound of Music Festival began with a parade—and 45 years later, it’s still the heart of the celebration. This Saturday morning, join the community for the Grande Festival Parade, kicking off at 11:00 AM on June 14 with a new route for 2025!
Expect a joyful lineup of international and Canadian marching bands, whimsical floats, vintage vehicles, and high-energy local performers bringing colour and sound to the streets. It’s a family-friendly tradition that’s all about music, community, and a little hometown magic.
Parade Route:
The parade starts at Brant Street & Grahams Lane/Prospect Street and heads south down Brant, wrapping up at Elgin Street.

Heads up: There won’t be bleachers this year, so bring your own folding chair for the best viewing experience.
Whether you’ve been coming for years or this is your first time, the parade is the perfect way to start your festival weekend. See you on the sidewalk!
