Twenty-one townhouse units are part of a new proposal for a vacant property at 2170 Ghent Ave. in Burlington, almost nine years after the site was originally approved for a four-storey retirement home.
More information is expected at an open house about the development application, which includes a total of 48 parking spaces for three townhouse blocks on a private road off Ghent Avenue.
The community open house is at Burlington Public Library Central Branch’s Centennial Hall (2331 New St.) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7. City staff announced Jan. 2 the open house had been relocated to the central library branch from another location.
