Morning Kickoff

8:30 a.m. – VRPRO Canada Day 5K Run
Start your Canada Day with a boost of energy at the VRPRO 5K Run. This waterfront race launches the day’s festivities with a scenic and spirited community jog. Pre-registration is required, so lace up early.

Midday Activities

Noon – Free Yoga in the Park
Bring your mat and unwind with free yoga at the Compass, near the West Lawn. It’s a peaceful pause before the party kicks into full gear.

Noon to 10:00 p.m. – Food & Marketplace Vendors
Enjoy eats from local favourites and browse artisan goods along the waterfront. Whether you’re craving festival snacks or unique finds, there’s something for everyone.

Noon to 4:00 p.m. – Kids Zone
From inflatables to hands-on fun, the Kids Zone keeps young visitors entertained all afternoon. Expect family-friendly vibes and plenty of room to roam.

Catch live entertainment throughout the afternoon with The Whoopsie Daisies, Noise Pollution Rock Band, and the juggling antics of Ben the Juggler!

2:20 p.m. – Burlington Teen Tour Band Drum Line
Join the Burlington Teen Tour Band at 2:20 p.m. for a nationwide Canada Day drumming event, where cities across six time zones will drum in unison for six minutes. Bring your own “beats” and be part of this synchronized celebration.

4:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies
Led by the full Burlington Teen Tour Band, the opening ceremonies will officially kick off the evening portion of the celebration.

Evening Concerts & Grand Finale

6:30 p.m. – Lucky Honey
Enjoy a high-energy set from Burlington's own Lucky Honey, setting the stage for a night of music and celebration.

8:00 p.m. – My Son the Hurricane
Don’t miss My Son the Hurricane, a 12-piece brass-funk powerhouse bringing the heat before the big finale.

9:40 p.m. (approx.) – Drone Show
Look up! Burlington’s skies will light up with a dazzling drone show, adding a modern twist to the tradition.

10:00 p.m. (approx.) – Fireworks Finale
Cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Ontario. It’s the perfect ending to a jam-packed Canada Day.
