City communications staff said the review includes flags displayed at city arenas.
“As part of this review, we are carefully considering the impact of any decisions on our local community and businesses, as well as visiting athletes, their teams, and families,” a city spokesperson stated in an email.
“Our goal is to ensure that our policies reflect our commitments to fostering global connections, sportsmanship, and supporting local community events through games and tournaments held in Burlington.”
